We at Codecaste irrespective of our caste and creed are proud Indians. Recently we celebrated our country’s 70th Independence Day at our office with full zest and enthusiasm.
CodeCaste celebrated India’s 70th Independence Day on 15th of August.
We bow our heads to all the freedom fighters who have sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our nation from East India Company. It’s been 70 years since we got Independence on 15th August 1947. Indeed this has been a long journey for India to become from an underdeveloped country to now world’s most fast developing economy.
Code Caste salutes the spirit of fellow Indians. We celebrated this day with full feelings of patriotism and gratitude towards our soldiers and our great leaders.
This is how we started…
As we knew on 15th we are going to mark a celebration of our country’s Independence Day, the first thing we started with was decorating our office with theme decorations. Everything was in tricolor, the color of our national flag.
Lots of tricolor balloons, ribbons and flags were put up in the whole office which evoked our patriotic feelings for India. It was a proud moment and day for all of us.
Even the employees and our seniors were dressed in colors that complimented the day. After decorations were done, we headed to give our humble tribute to all the leaders, known and unknown freedom fighters who gave us our freedom by sacrificing themselves.
It was done with our National Anthem. What a moment of pride it was for us!
Everyone was fully charged and energized to make this occasion special and memorable.
Our leader and mentor at CodeCaste Kavish sir gave a small speech for the day which was like a cherry on the cake! It was so motivating and full of zest.
It continued like this…
We continued with fun-filled and brainstorming activities for the day. A small debate was organized in the office. All the office employees were divided into two teams: Team A and Team B. Topic of the debate was ‘Indian Economic Issues’. We had our in-house judges- Kavish and Bhushan sir!
The winner was Hitesh Yadav and runner-up Parth Patel. Congratulations to them!
How can any celebration end without delicious food! A small party with yummy snacks was organized by the management.
Indeed a day with mixed feelings that was well-spent. We would remember it for all year long till our next Independence Day. Jai Hind!
