Our Process

From Concept to Realization

1Getting clear on your "WHY"

Getting clear on our customers “Why” is the most important step we believe before embarking on website production. We may hammer you down with some sensible questions which are related to your project, goals, vision, business model etc.

We love getting down to the nitty gritty of your scope which better prepares us to excel every step of the way. We are not simply going to sell you an off the shelf service before we understand your business and goals, and we don’t feel shy to be blunt at times when we feel there may be an issue with your “why.”

We take Simon Sinek “Start with why” culture seriously

How to Make a Website?
Documentation & Pecuniary
2Documentation & Pecuniary Items

Once we have the inventory of your project, we will be able to make an honest assessment and provide you a detailed estimation for the projected cost.

All of your project scope undergoes an evaluation where we send you a pre-proposal that encapsulates all the details of your project in meticulous manner. Yes, we go into detail with the project, and we don’t mind sharing you which wordpress plugins & widgets we will be incorporating in your setup.

Once the stage is set with a win-win proposition on scope and cost, we quickly jump for the next phase.

3Streamlining the design process

The next step is setting up a staging area for the website and creating the initial design. We send you a checklist and web design questionnaire upfront which makes our design life easier as well in tandem. There’s a lot to keep track of and a lot to make sure gets done. That’s where our web design questionnaire & checklists can make your life a whole lot easier. With lists of points covering multiple areas from content to usability to accessibility to standards, you’re a lot less likely to overlook important parts of a site.

The design needs to appeal to the target audiences and be easy to navigate. We always aim to design each page to create a coherent look and feel for the entire website that best represents your brand, product or service. We use InVison app for design workflow & collaborating to stay away from last minute surprises & keep things centralized.

Frontend Development
4Front end development - A lot like building a house

A UI without UX is like a basketball player slapping balls into the basket without thought. While UX without UI is like the frame of a sculpture with no paper mache on it. So once we have the UI in place we commence further for doing the XHTML/CSS development from the approved designs. Front end development is a lot like building a tower. Below are some modern approaches we follow while doing the front end architect:

  • Selecting the right tools: We are experienced with converting Photoshop or Illustrator files into HTML code
  • HTML/CSS (Native Responsive Development using Media queries)
  • Javascript Management
  • Cross Device & Browser check with W3C Validation
  • Ship the code to the development team

In order to keep things nimble writing a clear code from scratch is important. We discourage any third party tools which interfere with the cleanliness of our code.

5WordPress Development - Not like the other guys

Configuring the site on the local server is key before incorporating the HTML files into WordPress CMS. To take the stress out of this equation we propose clients use our own staging server.

Below are some clear defined points we work on:

  • Setting up fresh WordPress using XAMPP (Includes set up of new MySQL DB)
  • Build a custom theme with the name of project (No twenty seventeen)
  • Integration of HTML/CSS (Your original code would be chopped up into 4 different files (header.php, index.php, sidebar.php, footer.php)
  • Create Essential Pages
  • Installing the prerequisite plugin & widgets
  • Secure WordPress
  • Optimize for Search Engines
  • Setup Caching
  • Backup

By the time when we are completely immersed into the development process, we keep a close eye on testing every step of the way.

Ignoring the testing is like ignoring to spray the perfume on your shirt’s while going to a high-shot party.Having a reassuring testing strategy in place makes sure you have low bounce rates from visitors as let’s be honest every user expects zippy, fast-loading pages that are easy to navigate. Luckily, you don’t have to go out and spend a small fortune on every device on the market. We have all the possible devices in the house at our own disposal & for some, we use online emulators. Look at some of the steps we follow while Testing:-

  • Cross Device Testing
  • Cross Browser testing
  • Functional testing on all devices
  • Google’s Mobile-Friendly Test
7Launch - DrumRolls Please? Wait!

When launching a website, you can often forget a number of items in your eagerness to make it live, so it’s useful to have a checklist to look through as you make your final amendments and touches before you announce your website to the world.

We make sure we do a complete round of testing, one more time, from checking favicons to broken links to 404 or taking a backup before deployment. We make sure you avoid unnecessary costs after the official site launch and let your users have an excellent experience with your site.
