Job Description

We are looking for a Sr. WordPress Developer who is motivated to combine the art of design with the art of programming. Responsibilities will include integrate given HTML into fresh WP built website with all the customization as per given by the client requirement. You may have some knowledge of HTML, CSS and responsive website. Must have hands on experience on AJAX, jQuery and Javascript. Developer must have created their own plugin in past and can customize any kind of functionality on existing plugin or build a new plugin.

To be a successful WordPress developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of front-end programming languages, a good eye for aesthetics, and strong content management skills. Ultimately, a top-class WordPress developer can create attractive, user-friendly websites that perfectly meet the design and functionality specifications of the client.

Responsibilities

Build a new theme without any use of existing core feature.
Build a new plugin or customize any existing plugins.
Must have good hand on jQuery, Javascript. Also can able to customize any core library of jQuery.
Developer can able to work on any PHP based work. Should have good PHP core knowledge.
Developer can able to build any feature based on PHP logics.
Need to have good knowledge of payment gateway, and can able to integrate any kind of payment gateway on core PHP or on WordPress.
Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Collaborate with other team members.
Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3.
Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS.
Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX.
Basic knowledge of image authoring tools, to be able to crop, resize, or perform small adjustments on an image. Familiarity with tools such as Gimp or Photoshop is a plus.
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools.
Can able to manage juniors and get them learned

Skills and qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar field.
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Experience designing and developing responsive design websites
Comfortable working with debugging tools like Firebug, Chrome inspector, etc.
Ability to understand CSS changes and their ramifications to ensure consistent style across platforms and browsers
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML)
Ability to convert comprehensive layout and wireframes into working HTML pages
